The future of Calgary belongs to YOU and me!

We are a team of passionate volunteers who find better ways to make the communities that we call home more welcoming and inclusive. We came together to start up this one-of-a-kind, pay-what-you-can summer camp, as a way to give back to the community.

Our goal is to fundraise $6,000 so 20 campers can spend five-days with us. Piloting this summer camp for 20 campers (10 - 12 years old) in Crescent Heights, we are asking for your help to keep costs low for the campers so all can attend. This camp is volunteer run!

Money will go towards: camp materials, venue, transportation, daily snacks and drinks, and honorariums for guest speakers.

Thank you very much for considering.

With gratitude,
The Be a Changent team

Be a Changent is located in the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina, and the Iyarhe Nakoda. The city of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation.
